Political Listening post
Democratic Senator Staci Appel will be in town on February 19th from 12:15-1:15pm at the City Council Chambers on 911 State St to hold a listening post. Who is Senator Staci Appel and what is a listening post you ask, because I had to too. Senator Staci Appel is the elected Senator for District 37, of which Dexter is a part of. A listening post is basically an open fourm meeting where people can meet and discuss topics related to State government. Senator Appel co-chairs the State Government Reorganization Committee that is looking at how to make government more efficient and save taxpayer dollars so she is looking for your input on that and any other ideas related to State government.
