Truly random thought...
1. I began a new class Monday night. At one point, alright, a few points asking myself if at my age I could learn in a classroom setting. It is going to be a long three months so keep your fingers crossed.
2. New playground equipment...I want to play on the new playground equipment. Maybe I can see if I can stir some action to get it put up. I mean honestly, if I can put together my kids Christmas gifts then how hard can a big piece of playground equipment be?
3. Dexter Fall Festival is this weekend. Might be some rain, but that shouldn't keep anyone away. I've been saving up to buy a pie at the auction this year. But it's a secret which one I'll end up bidding on.
4. I've been so busy that the State Fair came and went with barely a few hours when I was able to be there. Let the wait begin for next year.
5. Does anyone know when you should start picking squash? I think I have some ready.
6. Did I completely miss the sweet corn season this year? Seems like I did.
7. So now Pluto may not be a planet? Good work...Finally the astronomers are realizing that Pluto is a dog and Goofy is..well just Goofy!
8. I've done some driving south of Dexter lately. I've never seen so many owls in all my life! I've heard of "hoot-chicken country"? but didn't realize it was that close to home. And deer hunters there are some BIG bucks down around the Greenfield area!.
9. Some days all one really needs is a hug and a smile. The other days it takes sneaking a renegade chocolate chip cookie!
